Fifth and Sixth Class pupils recently carried out a science experiment by planting cress seeds. They investigated the conditions needed for plant growth by selecting two variables—sunlight, water, and soil—to provide, while deliberately leaving out one. This allowed them to observe and compare which conditions were most important for successful growth.
